I am Swetha Desiraju, a Psychologist specialising in Clinical Psychology with experience in the areas of behaviour modification, child counselling and therapy.
My “why” : The purpose behind becoming a psychologist and starting Rising Sun was to provide a safe space for children with special needs and their parents. The purpose was fueled by the belief that early intervention and support could lay the foundation for happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives for these children. The dream was to create an environment that was nurturing, nonjudgmental, and filled with empathy, a place where children could learn to trust, heal, and develop the skills necessary to cope with life's challenges.

I am Namitha Kothuru, a dedicated professional holding a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, along with specialized training in behavior modification.
My "why":
My passion for psychology finds its purpose in working with children. Hi, I’m Lizna Lalani, a Psychology Graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Counselling Skills. I currently serve as a Behavioural Therapist at the Rising Sun Child Development Centre.
My "why":
Working with children has always been my calling, and I believe that early intervention in a child's life can make a profound difference. I initially found immense fulfilment in helping adults navigate the complexities of life. While counselling adults was a rewarding experience, I also believe in the power of early intervention and fostering emotional well-being in children for a brighter future. Children are like blank canvases, and I wanted to be the guiding hand that helps them paint their dreams and aspirations with the most vibrant colours. Children are incredibly resilient, and I am dedicated to helping them build a strong foundation for a bright future.

I acquired special skills in evaluating each child's unique needs and tailoring interventions accordingly sets the foundation for transformative progress.

Working with children ensures each day will be a unique adventure because kids are unpredictable and exciting!The children I work with make everyday fulfilling and my work is making a positive impact and helping each individual to grow ,gain skills and work towards independence. My "why":
I have chosen this field as working with children gives me immense joy. What motivates me the most is the positive impact and change that I can bring about in the lives of these children and their parents. Working with kids on a daily basis has became a learning opportunity for me. Seeing the child grow and progress with each session and watching their confidence grow gives me daily motivation to work with more techniques and different activities tailored to the needs of each child.

I am V.Varsha, a dedicated physical therapist. I assess neurodivergent kids and based on the evaluation, I design a treatment protocol and help the kids to live a better independent life.
My "why":
My therapy is playful, consisting of creative and fun activities that grabs the child's attention and perform it. Witnessing child's progress and growth encourages me to work hard. I have always loved kids. They are little adults with so much personality, and it is fun to work with them.
What I believe in:

I am Srilaxmi, I have done my masters in Audiology and speech language pathology. I am working since more than 15 yrs in this field in various places. In my experience I worked with both children and adults. My main area of interest is to work with children's language, voice and stuttering.

I love working with children though its challenging and requires patience it gives immense satisfaction especially when parents express their happiness regarding their child's improvement.
