Our team at Rising Sun Child Development Center is dedicated, compassionate, and highly skilled. We understand the unique needs of children with special requirements and are committed to providing them with the best care and support.

Swetha Desiraju (founder)

Swetha Desiraju is an RCI-certified Psychologist (CRR No. A112652) and PhD Scholar in Clinical Psychology, with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Early Intervention. Driven by a deep commitment to

early childhood development, she founded Rising Sun to provide quality, evidence-based therapy to children and families.


She is also the founder of The Bright Side Foundation, with a vision to make mental health care more accessible and approachable for all. Alongside her clinical work, she has been invited as a panelist and guest speaker at various forums, where she shares her insights on early intervention and child development.


Her work has been recognized through several honors, including the Change Makers Award, She Inspires Award, and the SIBA South Indian Influencer Award, and she has been nominated for the Pride of Telangana Award.


Lenora Nelamalli (Chief Therapist-shivam road)

 Nelamalli Lalitha Lenora, a skilled pediatric physiotherapist, specializes in neurodevelopmental therapy, early intervention, and sensory-motor integration. She holds a Bachelors in Physcial Therapy and a Master’s in Neurology, with over 4.5

years of experience helping children with cerebral palsy, developmental delays, and neuromuscular disorders gain mobility and independence. Certified in advanced pediatric techniques, she blends evidence-based methods with a compassionate approach. As chief therapist at Rising Sun’s Shivam Road branch, she leads therapy programs for more than 50 children daily, ensuring personalized, high-quality care.

Namitha kothuru (chief therapist-himayat nagar)

Namitha Kothuru is a dedicated psychologist with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and specialized training in behavior modification. She works closely with children facing Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges, while also guiding and supporting families through their journey. With a deep sense of purpose, she strives to create a safe, nurturing space where children feel seen, valued, and encouraged to grow into their fullest potential. As Chief Therapist at Rising Sun’s Himayatnagar branch, she leads with empathy and dedication, ensuring each child receives personalized care. She finds her greatest joy in witnessing children grow, overcome challenges, and take meaningful steps forward—moments that continue to inspire her every single day.


Hasita Ivaturi (Chief Therapist-Malkajgiri)

Hasita Ivaturi is a dedicated psychologist with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and a gold medal to her name, and is currently a PhD scholar. She specializes in Autism, ADHD, adolescent behavioral issues, developmental delays, school counseling, and parent counseling. Certified in Parenting Practice, Child Psychology, Counselling, and Psychotherapy, she blends expertise with compassion. As Chief Therapist at Rising Sun’s Malkajgiri branch, she ensures its smooth functioning while providing quality care. She finds the greatest fulfilment is seeing children take meaningful steps forward in their journey—no matter how small.


keerthi borundiya (Chief Therapist-thumukunta)

B Keerthi is a child psychologist with a Master’s degree in Psychology, specializing in Child Development and Family Relations, and is trained in shadow teaching. As Chief Therapist at Rising Sun’s Thumukunta branch, she provides individualized, compassionate care while also collaborating closely with school to support each child’s developmental and educational journey. With a strong focus on growth, resilience, and family support, she believes every small milestone is a meaningful step toward a child’s greater potential.


Candice sunny (Chief Therapist-kukatpally)

Candice Sunny is a dedicated pediatric physiotherapist with 2.8 years of experience across both pediatric and adult rehabilitation settings, including child developmental centres and hospitals. She specializes in neurodevelopmental therapy, early intervention, and functional rehabilitation for children with diverse needs.

Throughout her practice, she has worked extensively with children diagnosed with conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, Joubert syndrome, Rett syndrome, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and other neurodivergent conditions. Her approach focuses on improving mobility, independence, and overall quality of life through individualized, evidence-based interventions.

As the Chief Therapist at the KPHB branch, Candice leads therapy programs, ensuring high standards of care and personalized treatment planning for every child. She is committed to creating a supportive and engaging therapeutic environment, empowering children and their families to achieve meaningful developmental progress.


Siddharth Hemdev (director)

Siddharth is a dedicated professional with a degree in Economics and an MBA, giving him a strong grasp of macroeconomics and business strategy. With over 20 years of experience across multiple countries, his passion for business and IT drives him to streamline operations, innovate processes, and integrate technology with business goals.

As an entrepreneur, he leads operations across Africa, India, and Sri Lanka, excelling in managing complexities, identifying opportunities, and driving sustainable growth.

Tharun (head of operations)

 

Tharun S is the driving force behind Rising Sun, leading as its Head of Operations. Leaving behind a corporate career to pursue his true calling, he has become the

strongest pillar of the organization, constantly working to create new opportunities and expand its impact.

Beyond operations, his greatest strength lies in building deep connections— whether it’s earning the trust of parents or forming special bonds with children. His passion and dedication make him not just a leader, but a source of inspiration and strength for everyone at Rising Sun.

Vinaya SriLakshmi (manager)

 

Vinaya SriLakshmi serves in a management role at Rising Sun Child Development Centre, driven by a deep passion for supporting children and families. This role has strengthened her leadership and sense of purpose as she witnesses the transformative impact of early intervention. Committed to. expanding access to quality care, she strives to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
